Release Loneliness, Accept Life

by Beverly McNeff

“The power of one mind can shine into another, because all the lamps of God were lit by the same spark. It is everywhere and it is eternal.” (T-10.IV.7)

As we enter our third week of Advent tonight, we will focus on the release of loneliness and the acceptance of life. As lesson 41, “God goes with me wherever I go,” says:

“You can never be alone because the Source of all life goes with you wherever you go.”

Because we have identified ourselves with our bodies, we believe that not being alone means having other bodies around us. And, if those other bodies agree with us, then we are happy. Life, however, is not about bodies or agreement; it is about the love we feel within and the love we share with others. Love is often associated with light in A Course in Miracles and references our truth — our life. It is the power that is within us that we always carry, but we usually don’t know until we extend it. If the Course gives us the symbology of light as the sign of Christmas, the awareness of miraculous love, then let’s accept it!

We have the power within us now (in our minds) to shine love, life, and unity to “all the lamps of God” (T-10.IV.7) who have the same light within them. Let this holiday season be a time we arise and release ourselves from the shackles of loneliness, sorrow, and sickness, and start living our eternal truth of the light, love, and life within us now. Being the light of the world is our “real function on earth.” (W-61.3) Therefore, let us accept our true function, our true life. We are saved from all illusions that appear to separate us from our Creator and His loving Will for us. But, most importantly, we can save others as we focus on the only truth that abides within them: Light!

We at Miracle Distribution Center are blessed to walk this path of miracles with you. With healing light in our hearts, we offer this Course e-card so we may all experience the light, love, and life that is the salvation for the world.

With love and blessings,

Beverly
