The word “peace” is found more than seventeen hundred times in A Course in Miracles. This lovely gift book contains excerpts from the Course in which this word appears. The English text is from the latest edition of the Course; the Hebrew texts are from the Hebrew translation; the Arabic translations were made especially for this book. In both Islam and Judaism, the words for peace — Al Salaam, Shalom — are among the names of God. And in all three translations in this book, the words for “peace” and “at peace” are used interchangeably in order to emphasize that peace and serenity cannot be separated and that being at peace is an elevated state of mind.
